What if the little girl you’re raising has something to teach the woman you’re becoming?
On this special episode of You’re The Katch Podcast, I’m joined by my favorite little person and very special guest: my daughter, Zuri, who just turned FIVE! 💕🎂
This episode is a little different from our usual conversations. Instead of me doing all the talking, I’m handing the mic over to Zuri so we can explore the world through her five-year-old eyes.
From her thoughts on love, friendship, and happiness to her dreams for the future and her understanding of God, this conversation is filled with laughter, unexpected answers, precious memories, and little moments that might just make you see life differently.
But beyond creating a memory I can look back on when Zuri is 15, 25, or even 35, this conversation carries a beautiful reminder for all of us: Who were you before the world started telling you who you needed to be?
Before the pressure to have everything figured out. Before we complicated happiness. Before we stopped dreaming because life didn’t go according to plan.
Sometimes, we become so focused on raising our children, building our careers, and becoming better versions of ourselves that we forget to appreciate who we are right now.
In this episode, we’re talking about:✨ The beauty of seeing life through a child’s eyes.💕 What love, friendship, and happiness mean to a five-year-old.🙏 Faith, prayer, and trusting God with the future.🌸 Motherhood, being present, and cherishing the little moments.💭 Rediscovering the dreams we had before the world placed limitations on them.💖 Giving ourselves permission to grow without losing our joy.
We’ll also share affirmations to remind you that you don’t have to have everything figured out to be worthy, loved, and enough.
Sis, this episode is a reminder that our children aren’t just here for us to teach them. Sometimes, they’re here to teach us, too.
So whether you’re a mother, a daughter, a woman rediscovering herself, or simply someone who needs a little reminder to slow down and enjoy life, there’s something special waiting for you in this conversation.
And to my sweet Zuri: One day, when you listen back to this episode, I hope you hear more than your little five-year-old voice. I hope you hear how deeply you were loved, how fiercely you were prayed for, and how much joy you brought into my world.
Because before the world tells you who to be, I hope you always remember who you already are. 💗
🎧 Press play, sis. You might just learn something from a five-year-old.

Episode 26: Girl, Nobody Prepared Us for Our 30s
The Group Project Nobody Gave Us Instructions For 😂
Girl… nobody prepared us for our 30s.
We grew up thinking 30 would be the age where everything finally clicked career figured out, finances together, relationships healthy, confidence overflowing, body cooperating, friendships solid, and somehow a perfectly organized 10-year plan.
And then we actually got here. 😂
In this episode of You’re The Katch Podcast, we’re having the honest, funny, and faith-filled conversation about what it really feels like to navigate your 30s. The pressure to have it all figured out. The career pivots. Changing friendships. Family responsibilities. Money. Motherhood. Relationships. Becoming more intentional with your time and energy. And the realization that maybe being “behind” was never the truth in the first place.
Because your 30s aren’t necessarily about finally having all the answers.
Maybe they’re about becoming comfortable enough to admit you don’t and trusting God while you figure it out.
We’re talking about releasing comparison, redefining success, giving ourselves permission to change our minds, and learning that a life that looks different than the one you imagined can still be a beautiful life.
So if you’re somewhere in your 30s thinking, “Okay God… what are we doing here?” 😂
Girl, this episode is for you.
Grab your coffee, get in the car, take your walk, or sit somewhere for five minutes and breathe.
Let’s talk about the group project nobody gave us instructions for.

Episode 25: Wait… My Parents Are Growing Up Too?
There’s a moment in adulthood when you realize something you never really thought about as a child: your parents are growing and changing, too.
For so much of our lives, we see our parents as Mom and Dad the people with the answers, the people who took care of us, the people who somehow seemed to have life figured out. But as we get older, our perspective begins to shift. We start seeing the people behind the titles.
In this episode of You’re The Katch Podcast, we’re talking about what it feels like to grow up while realizing your parents are entering new seasons of their own. Their dreams can change. Their priorities can change. Their roles can change. And sometimes, we have to learn how to grow with them instead of simply growing away from them.
We’re talking about seeing our parents as whole human beings, giving them grace as they evolve, navigating the subtle shift in roles, having the conversations we never expected to have, and making the most of the ordinary moments while we still can.
Because maybe growing up isn’t just about becoming the woman you’re meant to be.
Maybe it’s also about learning to see the people who raised you in a whole new way.
So call your mama. Check on your daddy. Ask the questions. Hear the stories again. Take the picture. Make the memory.
And remember your parents are growing up, too.

Episode 24: Sis… You Can Have a Plan Without Needing Control 🎙️✨
What happens when the picture in your head doesn’t match the reality in front of you?
If you’re the woman who loves a plan, notices every detail, has high standards, and can already see exactly how something should come together… this conversation is for you. 😂
In this episode of You’re The Katch Podcast, Dianja gets personal about something she’s actively learning: the difference between having a vision and becoming attached to the outcome.
Because being Type A isn’t the problem. Your ambition, organization, discipline, attention to detail, and high standards can be incredible gifts. But sometimes our greatest strengths can have a shadow—perfectionism, overthinking, unrealistic expectations, and the need to control how everything unfolds.
And what happens when God allows the plan to look different?
We’re talking about learning to hold your vision with open hands. To recognize that different doesn’t automatically mean wrong. To understand that disappointment doesn’t always mean something went badly it may simply mean it didn’t happen the way you pictured it.
With scripture, honest reflection, affirmations, and a reminder that surrender doesn’t mean giving up your ambition, this episode is an invitation to plan boldly, live fully, and trust God with the parts you can’t control.
Because sis, you can still have the spreadsheet, the itinerary, the vision board, the standards, and the big dreams…
without losing your peace when the plan changes. 🤍
✨ Vision without rigidity.Standards without perfectionism.Ambition without obsession.Planning without control.
And remember, sis…

Sis… Your Phone Has Your Attention. But Does It Have Your Life? 📱

We’re connected to everything and sometimes disconnected from ourselves.

In this episode of You’re The Katch, we’re having an honest conversation about our attention, distraction, constant consumption, and the quiet ways our phones can keep us from being fully present in our own lives.

Because the question isn’t whether you can use social media. The question is: can you walk away from it?

We’re talking about the difference between being busy and being fruitful, what happens when entertainment becomes avoidance, why stillness matters, and what Scripture teaches us about being intentional with what gets our attention.

Sis, you don’t need to disappear from the internet. You just might need to take back control of your attention.

🎧 Press play and ask yourself: Am I consuming my life, or am I actually living it?

And remember… You’re The Katch. Always. ✨

Episode 22: “Sis… Your Money Needs to Grow Up Too” 💸✨
Sis, we’re growing emotionally, spiritually, and personally but is our relationship with money growing too?
In this episode of You’re The Katch, we’re having a real conversation about financial maturity, making wiser money decisions, and learning how to think beyond today. From investing in yourself and preparing for your children’s future to creating better financial habits and building a legacy, this episode is all about becoming more intentional with what God has placed in your hands.
Because making more money doesn’t automatically mean we’re managing it well.
It’s time to stop making financial decisions based on pressure, comparison, emotions, or what feels good in the moment and start making moves with wisdom, purpose, and the future in mind.
In this episode, we’re talking about:• Financial maturity and healthier money habits• Investing in yourself and your future• Preparing financially for your children• Building wealth and breaking unhealthy cycles• Making responsible decisions with the money you have• Trusting God while also becoming a wise steward
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance…”  Proverbs 21:5
Sis, we’re not just praying for more we’re preparing for more.
Because you’re growing in every other area of your life… and your money needs to grow up too.

Episode 21: “Sis… We Don’t Do That Anymore!”

Things We Accepted in Our 20s That We Would NEVER Accept Now

Sis… growth will have you looking back at your younger self like, “Girl… why were we okay with that?” 😂

In this episode of You’re The Katch, we’re talking about the things we accepted in our 20s that simply don’t fit the women we’re becoming today.

The bare minimum. Shrinking to keep the peace. Overexplaining our boundaries. Ignoring our intuition. Trying to prove our worth. And one of the hardest ones friendships that change even when the love is still there.

Because sometimes growth doesn’t come with a dramatic ending. Sometimes you simply realize that your values have shifted, your priorities have changed, and certain relationships no longer feel the way they once did. And that doesn’t necessarily mean anyone is the villain. Sometimes… you’re just standing in a different place now.

This episode is a reminder that you don’t have to hate your past self to honor who you’ve become. You can love people and still need different boundaries. You can cherish history without giving unlimited access. You can outgrow something without becoming bitter. And you can stop accepting what once felt normal without apologizing for it.

We’re talking about what it looks like to mature, listen to yourself, protect your peace, navigate changing friendships, and finally stop auditioning for your worth.

So if you’ve ever looked at something in your life and thought, “I used to accept this… but sis, we don’t do that anymore,” this episode is for you.

Press play, sis. 💛

You are allowed to change.
You are allowed to outgrow.
You are allowed to choose differently.
And you are allowed to become.

Remember, You’re The Katch. 💛

🎙️ EPISODE 20: “Sis… This Is Your Power Season!”

Mastering Confidence, Career Growth & Wellness in Your 30s

Sis… what if your 30s aren’t about having everything figured out but about finally becoming intentional about the woman you’re becoming?
In Episode 20 of You’re The Katch, we’re talking about stepping fully into your power season with confidence, career growth, wellness, faith, and the courage to stop comparing your timeline to everyone else’s.
Because somewhere along the way, we started believing that by a certain age, we were supposed to have the career, the relationship, the money, the body, the house, the family, and the perfectly figured-out life.

But sis… you are not behind. You are becoming.

We’re talking about what it looks like to build real confidence not confidence based on attention, validation, accomplishments, or how other people see you, but confidence rooted in knowing who you are and whose you are.

We’re getting real about going after more in your career, preparing for the opportunities you’ve been praying for, taking care of your body and mind, protecting your peace, and giving yourself permission to evolve.

And most importantly, we’re reminding you that God’s timing does not need to look like anybody else’s timeline.

Maybe you’re not behind.

Maybe you’re being prepared.

So if you’ve been feeling like you’re running out of time, questioning your next move, comparing yourself to other women, or wondering if it’s too late to start something new…

This episode is for you.

Your 30s aren’t a deadline.

They’re a development season.

A season to grow.
A season to build.
A season to heal.
A season to prioritize yourself.
A season to walk boldly in what God has placed inside of you.

✨ Sis, this is your power season. And it’s time to start acting like it.

🎙️ Episode 19: “Sis… Stop Shrinking to Fit!”

Girl, You’re That Girl. Act Like It.

Sis… it’s time to stop making yourself smaller just to make other people comfortable. 💕👑

In this episode of You’re The Katch, we’re having a real girl talk about confidence, comparison, self-worth, rejection, purpose, and learning to take up space without apology.

Because somewhere along the way, you may have started questioning yourself:

Am I too much?
Am I behind?
Do I really belong here?
Am I good enough?
Why does her life look so much further ahead than mine?

Baby, we’re shutting ALL of that down.

We’re talking about the difference between confidence and arrogance, why another woman’s success doesn’t take anything away from yours, and how to walk into rooms knowing you belong there — not because you need everyone’s approval, but because you know who you are and whose you are.

And of course, we’re bringing God into the conversation. 🙏🏽

Psalm 139:14 reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and this episode is your reminder that God didn’t make a mistake when He made YOU.

Whether life has knocked your confidence down, rejection has made you question your worth, or comparison has you feeling behind, this is your reminder:

✨ You are not too much.
✨ You are not behind.
✨ You are not in competition.
✨ You are worthy of taking up space.
✨ You are allowed to be proud of yourself.
✨ You don’t have to shrink to make somebody else comfortable.

So sis… fix your crown, pull those shoulders back, and walk into this next season like you KNOW you belong there.

Because girl…

YOU’RE THAT GIRL.

Now it’s time to act like it. 👑

🎧 Press play, say the affirmations out loud, and let this episode remind you of exactly who God created you to be.

“Sis… Turn the Praise Up!” 🙌🏾🎶When Worship Becomes Your Weapon
Sis… sometimes you don’t need another strategy.Sometimes you need to turn the praise up.
In this episode of You’re The Katch, we’re taking a joyful pause from the heavy conversations and talking about the power of praise, worship, gratitude, and trusting God even when you’re still waiting on your breakthrough.
Dianja gets personal about why praise and worship mean so much to her, the way worship can shift your atmosphere, and why you don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to give God glory.
We’re getting into:
✨ Why praise isn’t just something we do when life is going well✨ How worship can redirect your focus when life feels overwhelming✨ Why you can praise God while you’re still waiting✨ Paul and Silas praising God in the prison✨ What Jehoshaphat teaches us about putting praise before the battle✨ Why your worship isn’t a transaction for a miracle it’s a response to who God is✨ How to create your own moments of worship at home, in the car, or wherever you are✨ And a special praise break + affirmations to help you shift your heart and your atmosphere
Because sis, you can cry and praise. You can be disappointed and praise. You can have questions and praise. You can be waiting and praise.
You don’t have to wait for the breakthrough to worship the One who is still faithful in the waiting.
So grab your headphones, turn that volume up, and get ready to have a little church with me. 😂🙌🏾
This week’s reminder:I choose praise over complaining. I choose gratitude over comparison. I will praise God in the waiting, in the process, and in the breakthrough.
Because God is still good.God is still faithful. And baby… He is still worthy of your praise.
🎧 Press play, sis.🎶 TURN. THE. PRAISE. UP.
And as always…Remember, You’re The Katch. 💛
